It’s hard to believe it is already time for me to open up my fall booking calendar!!  Every year gets busier and busier with people trying to get in for their fall photos and this year will be no exception.  October is also proving to be a very busy month with several of my clients adding new babies to their families so I will be extra busy!

Here is how fall booking works…

There are two different types of sessions to choose from. Full family sessions are more relaxed, we walk around the park for a variety of settings, I will take candid images and tell a story along with some of everyone looking at the camera. I don’t limit the time however we are working with the sun so it normally is around 1hr sometimes shorter, sometimes longer. I will edit around 40-50 images for you to pick your final 25 images from. You will have the option to purchase additional images from the gallery. Mini sessions are more structured as they are back to back sessions, we will remain in one location, session is strict to 25-30min. I will edit between 15-20, you pick 10 from that but can purchase additional images at this time.

After your session, around 2-3weeks, a gallery will be sent to you to pick your final images via my proofing site. You will also have the option to purchase additional files from your gallery at this time. Once selected your final high resolution files are sent to you via pass/pixieset for you to download and print at your leisure. A print release will be included in the folder. The option to purchase prints or canvases through me is also available.

$100 is due to secure your session. The remainder is due on or before the session.

Session times are based on sunset and can not be changed so please be aware of the both the date and time that you are choosing.  The later we get into fall the earlier session times get so be aware if you need to have a later time with work schedules that you book right away as those go fast.  Fall colors changes when it decides to change so there is no guarantee that any one date will have amazing color. I also shoot the last hour of the day during the “golden hour” giving any scene the nice golden color that everyone loves in the fall.  You can’t go wrong with any date you choose in the fall in Nebraska.

Once you have selected your top 2-3 dates you will need to email me here with the dates you picked. I will send you an invoice along with the contract, once both are signed and paid your session is reserved. Until the retainer is paid, your session spot is not saved on my calendar.

Now to choose your top 2-3 dates and get on my books while I still have openings!

This family session was just a blast. I loved reliving the session while getting these photos together for this years fall family promos. My goal is to always make these sessions fun and give you photos you will love always. I want your images to represent you and your family embracing the love you have for one another. The best images are the ones where you are all laughing, hugging, being silly with each other and not looking at the camera. Let me capture you being you.

Lifestyle in the studio | Newborns | Cami Thompson Photography

Loved this little guy and his tongue, which he kept out through his whole session. Haha! What a great family to work with. We even did some super special photos for mom which will be kept just for her but the rest of the session is just as great. I tried lifestyle in the studio with this little guy and it turned out amazing. I was so happy when I saw all the images come together. I will definitely be doing more of this in the future. Trying new things is always a great way to keep my creative side thinking.

I love having fun with my family sessions. I always encourage tickles and laughing, big bear hugs and snuggles. These are the moments that always give the most genuine reactions, the best smiles, the emotions are real. I will be focusing more on this next year also. This was a super fun session with some super cute people. When you have a 3yr old and a 1yr old it’s never going to go as you expect. I love chasing them around and letting them run and play and have fun with mom and dad while I snap away. This allows them to be themselves and gives me amazing photos. These are the photos you’ll look back on and treasure, the ones where you can feel the energy and love bursting from the photos!!!!

My very favorite people of all to photograph, my kiddos. We went on vacation to Estes Park in Colorado and boy was it amazing. I’ve never been there and it is beautiful. The best place ever!!! I think we want to move there now. Here are some photos from RMNP along with some fun hotel ones. The light was just perfect right as they were getting to ready to go swimming and I made them stop and take photos. Mean mom am I!!!

I’ve been working with lots of families lately and it’s especially fun when they are actually family. I loved working with my cousins for their family photos. I think we got some super great shots. I loved everything about this session. It’s always nice to photograph a long time friend and their family. This session was done at their amazing home, I asked her to come decorate my house! Besides the fact that her little man wasn’t feeling the best these are truly photos to last a lifetime. I was very nervous for this session though as mom is a photographer herself and just and all around amazing artist. I was very honored to be welcomed into their house to capture them being themselves and having fun as a family!

These kiddos were full of energy and super silly. They have a photographer for a mom so they are used to being in front of the camera and definitely act like themselves. Not shy at all!!! This session turned out fantastic and I was so super glad mom printed these out on canvas for a wall display in their home. ❤ Because mom is a photographer we took some head shots for her website too!
