This family session was just a blast. I loved reliving the session while getting these photos together for this years fall family promos. My goal is to always make these sessions fun and give you photos you will love always. I want your images to represent you and your family embracing the love you have for one another. The best images are the ones where you are all laughing, hugging, being silly with each other and not looking at the camera. Let me capture you being you.

Such a sweet family I got to meet this year and getting to capture this little one was yet another pleasure. Pretty in pink, purple, blue what ever color I put her in, this little one did great, gave me smiles, and let me pose her perfectly.

Love getting to witness new life being brought into this world. I’ve never been a part of a natural birth so this was truly amazing. The moment you knew baby was coming was unlike any other moment I’ve been a part of. Baby was born in the tub which was incredible to witness all on it’s own. Seeing dads reaction to his little girls arrival was perfect, the bond the 3 of them instantly had. I feel extremely privileged to get to capture such amazing moments. Thanks Penny Layne Photography for letting me tag along to this birth for another new birth experience.

This little girl was such a great baby. She was in for a newborn mini (pure baby) and she did perfect for me. She was awake for some of it and I loved those shots so! The crying shot is my absolute favorite!!!!

Oh man, have you ever seen a more beautiful baby girl! The eye lashes the hair the perfect little face and chubby cheeks, she’s just perfect. I loved getting to work with her to photograph her at this time where she will never be again. It is always amazing that I get to photograph little babies at a time when they are the littlest they will ever be. I get to freeze time for a moment and parents get lasting memories of how tiny their baby actually was. I love it so!!!! This session I did some naturally posed shots, mixed with prop shots and a few macro shots of those tiny details. I can’t wait to incorporate more naturally posed shots into sessions. Letting baby take the lead on those!

This little guy was so sweet. He came to me last minute and was just as precious as could be. I enjoyed getting to meet him and I’m so happy I leave room in my schedule for last minute babies. Love getting to take my own girls out to photograph them and try some new things and find new locations. We will be doing a lot of this this summer. I am super excited and I know they are not. hahaha…..the life of a photographers child. Mom making you take photos constantly. Lets just say they are over it. On the other hand they did very well this night. Love them. Side note, it was super windy that night and I also had some happy accidents!

Another great option to try is lifestyle/in home sessions. I love being invited into your home to capture you where you feel most comfortable. Getting to add details of baby’s nursery to make each session unique. Love how lifestyle session take on their own agenda as to how the flow of the photos will go.

This family had contacted me early in winter wanting to do snow photos. We waited and waited and waited and finally we got snow! I am in love with this session. I sure hope to get to do more like this next year because these rocked!!!
