This family session was just a blast. I loved reliving the session while getting these photos together for this years fall family promos. My goal is to always make these sessions fun and give you photos you will love always. I want your images to represent you and your family embracing the love you have for one another. Love, love, love!!! I’m so glad these guys took all my words to heart and brought a teddy bear to her session. Not only did it help this sweet little girl focus on something other than me trying to get smiles but it brought on all the genuine emotions I’m always trying to get.

My very favorite people of all to photograph, my kiddos. We went on vacation to Estes Park in Colorado and boy was it amazing. I’ve never been there and it is beautiful. The best place ever!!! I think we want to move there now. Here are some photos from RMNP along with some fun hotel ones. The light was just perfect right as they were getting to ready to go swimming and I made them stop and take photos. Mean mom am I!!!

This is one of the hardest ages for me to photograph. I admit it, I’m not good at it. I don’t know how to get them to relax or know how to pose them. That being said I think these photos turned out great. I suppose it might help that it’s my daughters bestie and my daughter was there also! I’m working on getting better at the older tween age kiddos!!!

I loved everything about this session. It’s always nice to photograph a long time friend and their family. This session was done at their amazing home, I asked her to come decorate my house! Besides the fact that her little man wasn’t feeling the best these are truly photos to last a lifetime. I was very nervous for this session though as mom is a photographer herself and just and all around amazing artist. I was very honored to be welcomed into their house to capture them being themselves and having fun as a family!

These kiddos were full of energy and super silly. They have a photographer for a mom so they are used to being in front of the camera and definitely act like themselves. Not shy at all!!! This session turned out fantastic and I was so super glad mom printed these out on canvas for a wall display in their home. ❤ Because mom is a photographer we took some head shots for her website too!

I made my girls go outside so I could get some photos of them playing together. I love lifestyle photography. I don’t really like calling it that, but catching moments and getting movement and emotion in my photos. I am so drawn to this style of photography that I figured I needed to work on it myself. Why, well because those are the images that I want to remember my own little ones with!!

And we are growing herbs and vegetables this year so I thought while they were watering the plants, I’ll snap a few photos of them doing so.

Welcome to the world! | Cami Thompson Photography | Omaha, NE | Birth Photographer

I have been waiting to do a birth story for some time now. I am so excited to say I finally had the chance to watch a little miracle enter the world. What an amazing experience that was. This was the first time I have ever witnessed such a thing. My own birth experiences were from c-sections so nothing like this. The emotion from the room when they pulled the baby out and said it’s a boy almost brought me to tears. I held it in though! Here are a few of my favorites from the day. I can not wait to get to do this again!!!!!! Thank you K family for letting me enjoy this precious time with you. ❤
