It’s hard to believe it is already time for me to open up my fall booking calendar!!  Every year gets busier and busier with people trying to get in for their fall photos and this year will be no exception.  October is also proving to be a very busy month with several of my clients adding new babies to their families so I will be extra busy!

Here is how fall booking works…

There are two different types of sessions to choose from. Full family sessions are more relaxed, we walk around the park for a variety of settings, I will take candid images and tell a story along with some of everyone looking at the camera. I don’t limit the time however we are working with the sun so it normally is around 1hr sometimes shorter, sometimes longer. I will edit around 40-50 images for you to pick your final 25 images from. You will have the option to purchase additional images from the gallery. Mini sessions are more structured as they are back to back sessions, we will remain in one location, session is strict to 25-30min. I will edit between 15-20, you pick 10 from that but can purchase additional images at this time.

After your session, around 2-3weeks, a gallery will be sent to you to pick your final images via my proofing site. You will also have the option to purchase additional files from your gallery at this time. Once selected your final high resolution files are sent to you via pass/pixieset for you to download and print at your leisure. A print release will be included in the folder. The option to purchase prints or canvases through me is also available.

$100 is due to secure your session. The remainder is due on or before the session.

Session times are based on sunset and can not be changed so please be aware of the both the date and time that you are choosing.  The later we get into fall the earlier session times get so be aware if you need to have a later time with work schedules that you book right away as those go fast.  Fall colors changes when it decides to change so there is no guarantee that any one date will have amazing color. I also shoot the last hour of the day during the “golden hour” giving any scene the nice golden color that everyone loves in the fall.  You can’t go wrong with any date you choose in the fall in Nebraska.

Once you have selected your top 2-3 dates you will need to email me here with the dates you picked. I will send you an invoice along with the contract, once both are signed and paid your session is reserved. Until the retainer is paid, your session spot is not saved on my calendar.

Now to choose your top 2-3 dates and get on my books while I still have openings!

Had a lot of fun with this family at their house. I was invited to come watch them cook, play, and interact with each other like they normally do each day. They made pancakes for breakfast, after that miss E wanted to play ring around the rosie or as she calls it “rosie”, then story and bath time. A great start to the day for everyone. Lifestyle sessions are a great way to capture you in your everyday lifestyle. You get to be comfortable in your own home while I watch and document the way you interact with each other. At this house, little miss E was a bit unsure of me and why I was there, but by the end, I was being pulled into a game of “rosie”, running and getting me and getting lots of smiles. I love watching little kiddos come out of their shell while I’m photographing them and it tends to happen a lot faster during a lifestyle session than any where else. Bonus part of this session, this house was like a dream house for me. I loved every bit of character in this awesome house and told mom she needs to come decorate my house! I loved everything about this session. It’s always nice to photograph a long time friend and their family. This session was done at their amazing home, I asked her to come decorate my house! Besides the fact that her little man wasn’t feeling the best these are truly photos to last a lifetime. I was very nervous for this session though as mom is a photographer herself and just and all around amazing artist. I was very honored to be welcomed into their house to capture them being themselves and having fun as a family!

When you get asked, hey would you like to come out to our house for the maternity session we have 5 acres of land, you say: yes, please! These guys had some great areas on their land where we could take some awesome photos. I am super excited to go back and do outdoor photos of the new little one when she arrives!!!

Love getting to capture babies in their homes within the first few days of being home. It’s such a great experience for everyone and to be able to have those moments to treasure always. I can’t describe how amazing it feels to have had the year I have. I went from 23 total sessions in 2013 to 117 in 2014. Talk about exploding! I want to thank each and every one of my clients for being awesome and spreading the word about me. It was a huge joy getting to work with and meet all kinds of new people and getting to work with returning people. Home is where the heart is! – Lifestyle Maternity | Cami Thompson Photography | Omaha, NE | Maternity photographer

These guys welcomed me into their home to capture some photos before baby was to come. Talk about one hilarious session we had! From the little one not wanting anything to do with photos and just wanting to show me her horse, a dog who pee’s when excited, to me being a nerd as usual and belly laughs from mom, I think we had a good time! A little something different…. Studio & Lifestyle! Cami Thompson Photography | Omaha, NE | Newborn photographer

This little guy just rocked it, literally! He came sporting a Pearl Jam onsie and a sweet old guitar case! We did two sessions with this little one a studio session which he was such a trooper and then we did some lifestyle family session at his home. I think both sessions turned out amazing and it’s a nice change of pace to do do some lifestyle photos. I think they are a great addition to any session, showing you interacting at home! I can’t wait to do more sessions like this one! Thanks guys for inviting me into your home and letting me capture such an amazing time in your lives with the addition of a new little baby boy.
