When you get asked, hey would you like to come out to our house for the maternity session we have 5 acres of land, you say: yes, please! These guys had some great areas on their land where we could take some awesome photos. I am super excited to go back and do outdoor photos of the new little one when she arrives!!!

I have been waiting to do a birth story for some time now. I am so excited to say I finally had the chance to watch a little miracle enter the world. What an amazing experience that was. This was the first time I have ever witnessed such a thing. My own birth experiences were from c-sections so nothing like this. The emotion from the room when they pulled the baby out and said it’s a boy almost brought me to tears. I held it in though! Here are a few of my favorites from the day. I can not wait to get to do this again!!!!!! Thank you K family for letting me enjoy this precious time with you. ❤

This little boy is so cute! I just love his big huge eyes and that smile, gah….. He had such cute little giggles for me during this session too. I just love this age!

This little girl was so outgoing. First thing she did when she met me was run up to me yelling her name and gave me a big hug. She waived at everyone we came across and just genuinely had a blast and such a good heart. They were such a great family to meet and I hope to work with them again!

It has rained all weekend here, and my sessions for the weekend were all outdoors so we rescheduled. But that doesn’t mean I can’t take my own little bean outside to play and capture her having fun playing in the rain!!! I love these images. ❤ ❤ them!

Love getting to take my own girls out to photograph them and try some new things and find new locations. We will be doing a lot of this this summer. I am super excited and I know they are not. hahaha…..the life of a photographers child. Mom making you take photos constantly. Lets just say they are over it. On the other hand they did very well this night. Love them. Side note, it was super windy that night and I also had some happy accidents!

Taking a ride on her bike for one of the first times this season. It’s nice that she has a photographer as a mom so she can capture all these great moments of growing up. Though it really doesn’t matter if you are a photographer or not, just capture your kiddos being them!

This family had contacted me early in winter wanting to do snow photos. We waited and waited and waited and finally we got snow! I am in love with this session. I sure hope to get to do more like this next year because these rocked!!!

I love 6mo sessions. The little ones are always so curious, they smile and laugh, they play more and interact with you while you photograph them! Can’t wait to see this little cutie again in a few months, I mean look at that gerber baby face and her red hair! gahhhhh!!!!!! Too stinkin cute!!!!
